Victoria Pride 2026: Parade, Park fest & Events

Victoria Pride returns on Sunday the 12th of July 2026, with the annual Pride Parade and Festival in the Park bringing together the Greater Victoria LGBTQ+ community for one of British Columbia's most beloved summer celebrations.

Organized by the Victoria Pride Society, the event takes place on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen Peoples, and VPS places its relationships with the Songhees, Esquimalt, and WSÁNEĆ Peoples at the heart of how it operates and organizes.

The full programme of supporting events builds across the weeks leading up to the main weekend, including the Memorial Drag Ball Game, Big Gay Dog Walk, and Pride in the Word, a literary and spoken word celebration that has become a firm fixture on the annual calendar.

It takes almost 300 volunteers to bring the festival together each year, reflecting the deeply community-driven character of an event that has grown steadily into one of the most welcoming Pride celebrations on Canada's west coast.

Victoria itself is a compact, walkable city with a strong independent food and arts scene, easy ferry connections from Vancouver, and the kind of unhurried pace that makes it a natural complement to a wider British Columbia trip.
